THE BEST OF WHAT'S AROUND

Picture Robbers

Even though I'm quite used to it now (after all, there's more than 25.000 pics on AJB and about 2000 pages viewed per day), I'm always amazed at the nerves cheeky folks display by stealing pics, erasing watermarks and republishing them.

(Mind you, I don't own the copyrights of the works — they are the photographer & publisher's, cf. disclaimer on every page of this site. I just took the consuming time to take pics of them, to resize them and to brand them to deter further spreading. Those who want them can buy the book or whatever, like I did.)

The lastest in date had the indecency to link to the page he stole it from, that's how this little comparison became possible.

Tadaaaa!

Magic? No, Photoshop and disrespect. Welcome to the internet age. As if it's so difficult to ask, or not to erase credits. Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the internet: it's probably all about education and manners, in the end.

Anyway, a more informational post very soon, with updates on our relocation, stocks and projects.

Cheers.

I love the fact that he erased watermarked credit but still linked the pic to the original post.
